I've got another order from ReviewMe for paid review. This time it's DatingGold.Com

DatingGold is the owner and operator of several dating and adult dating services, namely Amateurmatch.com, WebCamClub.com and TextnDate.com.

The payouts are incredibly generous - Amateurmatch.com pays out $75 per sale, up to $5 per free profile and 50% revhsare for life. Webcamclub.com pays $150 per sale and 25% revshare for life. Textndate.com pays $1 per mobile number.

However, if you are an experienced affiliate marketer, you know that some of the best paying players tend to be the very same ones that get a lot of complaints. Ringtones is a prime example. They've screwed so many people over that legislators in Florida and some other states passed laws banning companies from claiming that ringtones are 'free', because they are usually not.

As an experienced marketer I can tell you this much - stay away from niches where companies charge customers and piss them off. Here is what RipOffReport has to say about DatingGold.Com services:

Last year I experienced the same exact spamming as others have complained about at amateurmatch.com. You join up and you get innundated with tons of e-mails that appear suspicious.

I asked for a cancellation last summer ('06) and they never answered my request. I have since been charged $301.80 total on monthly charges. The site in charge of billing was TTBill.com through Pirhana Media in the UK. They told me on the phone that they could only refund the last month of charges at $24.95.

I contacted Datematch.com and datinggold.com in an attempt to get to the bottom of this, plus amateurmatch.com again. No luck with the first 2 sites, but AM finally responded.

However, they are stalling ( i think rather deliberately) to get to a solution. They claimed that I WAS given a refund, but they didn't seem to comprehend that I clearly mentioned their failure to grant my original cancellation request and that they should refund the over $276 that I am still owed. I threatened to contribute any evidence I had in any class-action suit brought against them for this. Still waiting for a response.

I found this with some phone numbers that might help out, but no luck thus far.

Read this, you will find it quite interesting.

I do recommend getting into dating as an affiliate niche, however, unless DatingGold.Com has changed their business model, it means that their business model is not a sustainable one.
